Looks good. Is the flange lighter than OEM? Any disadvantages? I was reading a thread somewhere where someone was saying they had to machine the spacer? I would presume this is a simple swap.
Big weight saving over the Multistrada OE and I guess will be similar for the Panigale. IME, the Sita is excellent quality and fit. Andy
I reckon I’ll give it a go then. I presume they are simple bolt-on replacements and I can re-use the same cush and bolts. I guess replacing the cush would be based on feeling excessive movement, whatever that might be.
I’d have absolutely no issues re-using the original cush rubbers, they will have plenty of life in them yet. Bolts are a personal thing if ‘bling’ is your thing Ducati OE nuts and bolts are notorious for poor quality. There are a couple of UK suppliers who offer replacement kits but choose the correct grade of steel for the best performance. I’d not recommend titanium for load bearing or stressed applications but that is just me (with over 40 years of experience in the aerospace arena). Andy
I’m not looking for bling - the bike’s not going to Starbucks any time soon. I already experienced the famous cheese bolts – I had to get a new hanger due to this.
