  8. Nearly bought an MV Augusta back in late 90s (750 in line 4 back then I think). Had it been a twin I'd have bought one. Not see one since. Looking at the phots on here it now looks like a 749 / 999; but not so nice....

  9. Three modern bikes for me. Two are rather quirky. image.jpg

  13. nope your bike looks sweet, very nice, guzzi?

  14. Thank you and Yes Kev to give it its correct title its a Magni Sfida 1000. Sfida is Italian for challenge and it certainly was that when rebuilding it.

Its a Guzzi Le Mans 1000 in a frame designed by Magni, I refurbed it a good bit and added quite a few non period parts, the fact that it devalues it is neither here nor there, as I'd never sell it.

Pedestrian by to-days standards, I still find myself enjoying immensely. Currently about to mate the engine and gearbox on a rebuild of another one a Sfida 1100, although of the same name it looks quite a bit different.

  15. In that case, once you've finished the 1100 you'll not be needing that shitty old 1000. Lucky for you I'm a scrap dealer and I'll give you preferential rates for recovering the manky old Magni;)

  16. This is why I love this forum the way the members just can't do enough for each other. That is SO generous Fig why thankyou
