  1. There's something going on with that bay window, there could have been a wooden lintol originally but the brickwork has certainly seen some repair.
    Needs checking out.

  2. Buy old, buy twice. Buy new, buy shite, just build, with good contractors.

  3. Isn't Berkeley where Liz Hurley lives, or used to live? Isn't that at the heart of the "gloucestershire set". Maybe I'm wrong, long time since I've been there. If I'm right then upmarket and very well to do but not sure the neighbours will be into 'Florida Fantasy Fest' but then you never know what goes on behind lace curtains - just watch Midsommer Murders to find out:). Nice looking house but I have to agree with the above ^^ why live that close to a road with neighbours that close when paying that much?

  4. I love living on a street in the town - done ‘out in the sticks ‘ & hated it

4 pubs within walking distance , regular bus stop & 10 mins into the City , plenty of small shops with all your needs on your doorstop , round to dinner with the neighbours & stagger back , 10 minute commute to work - :). Hardy use the car at weekends .

  15. Good points about the house.
Cheltenham and Gloucester are on our hit list... at least we've got fast roads back to the smoke when and if needed.
    Thanks everyone....
If I proposed building a house I think I may end up single.
It's taken me 22 years, nearly 23 and there is still an active cement mixed in the car park as I type right now... (100' new coping stones on back wall).
