Try the M25, apparently you can do 149mph in your Porsche and only get a 6 month ban, £600 fine. Wonder if you would get that on a bike.....doubtful!

I am the other end of the A12 not far from Billericay, are you going Finchingfield on Saturday and i haven't been there for a very long while.

 

You could try visiting the Bird in Hand pub on the Coggeshall Road, Earl's Colne from 12 noon on second Sundays in the month.

 

Should be out late Saturday morning, Burnham or Epping but can't remember which one sold Breadpudding :Happy:

 

Are you guys still planing on riding this weekend? I'm at a loose end this sunday and would like to come along with you if you are. Weather doesn't bother me to much but I do draw the line with the snow. I've often have a good run out from chelmsford through to Braintree up to hailstead heading to bury then on to thetford where the roads get nice and twisty. Pm if interested.

Not been there for a few years now Roadtrip. Used to run over there on my KR1S 250 way back in the day until a lad got it all wrong through Hawthorne and ended his days there. Ever since then the boys in blue came out in full force and started nicking people for small plates and black visors so I soon gave up going there. Shame though as it used to be a good run out there. Maybe we could get a few of the essex lads on here to meet up for a ride some day?

 

I lived in Burnham for 16 years, in the house opposite the Cabin Dairy. Seen plenty of people write themselves off on the bends, cars and bikes, and plenty of plod out in force at the weekends as a result. But it's a great bit of road as long as you don't go mad and Colin serves a mean bacon sandwich the other end.

 

I will probably go for a short ride too Leigh on sea (old Leigh) for a cuppa and be back home for about 11, as Moto gp is on.
