There are several types, the ones on the blue poles are for motorways and primary a roads. they also use smaller cameras mounted to existing structures. they aren't a fixed police anpr unit as there is no IR floodlight for night use
Well, my old man managed to go completely the other way....he`s getting on now and has managed to drive around in his little C1 for the last 2 years with no tax and managed to evade every camera without knowing it. He genuinely thought he was taxed (time slows down when you get older apparently). He`s taxed it now (this was months ago). He used it all the time (he`s got a few cars but thats the most used). Go figure..
