Slept about half the night, but stayed asleep until 10am. I haven't been using my pca, so I've little pain killers in my blood. This makes me feel like shit and weak. Good news +on the no blood clot, just very bad chest infection. Next stop intensive care unit, unless I can show real improvement. Now back taking the pca (patient controlled analgesia). Love.you all on here for the positive comments and humour.
Awww bless you you have been through the mill and medication can make you feel awful and weak Good news on the blood clot and pisitive thoughts for your lung function to improve Anyway keep taking the tablets and behave yourself
When I was in for my leg infection I started to find ways to improve my day (boredom) had a nice chat with the religious folk, not that Im religious but they are good listeners. Got a few tunes played on hospital radio. Made friends with someone who reviewed my meds and got my snoring machine mask replaced. After a few days I refused to eat anything that wasn't out of a box such as cornflakes so my wife used to bring in supplies such as salads and fresh sandwiches from the local baker. As soon as I could move I started exploring the hospital. Mind you I didn't have wifi or 3G. Hopefully you can avoid the ICU.
Now there's a game! Can we call/email the hospital and request a song for @AirCon? Do they even do Hospital Radio anymore? I'd like to start with:
Is this 'thread' going to be made into film? Directed by Guy Rich(t biscuit)? Who's going to play Aircon? Foggy's doin nowt these days:Wideyed:
Just something to keep in mind for a bit later aircon. Wheelchair racing is really good fun ...:Angelic:
Bed early for me tonight.......be up at 5.15am tomorrow to get the 6.25am coach from Derby all the way to the big smoke to see @AirCon ,@chizel (fingers crossed) and some other folk, looking forward to my mini-adventure
