Update: NIL BY MOUTH from 2am today (tomorrow ). Had a chest scan today to hopefully allow the guys to put me out so the plastics team to rebuild the left hand on Tuesday.
Thanks everyone for the good wishes. If I was single I'd be back on a bike in a flash. I'm not. I cannot put myself in a situation like this again. The look in Emma 's eyes, between my brother (who we normal see daily ) and I; is of such pain; perhaps even more than we (brother) have felt collectively. I cannot do it again. It is for that reason I may only be a collector of Ducati rather than a rider.
buy an old classic, you can ride it slowly lol. re tomorrows op mate , all the best hope its successful and relatively painless......did you know when they anesthetise you all the nurses strip naked and point at your willy.just telling so you can make sure hes presentable, tie a small ( or large ) ribbon around him or paint a face on him.....all the best Stephen.
I once made a decision to give up bikes for my loved ones. I was back on two wheels once circumstances changed but at the time I made the decision, it was the right one.
You don't understand - the look in her eyes, he let the life insurance lapse :Bag: soz, just couldn't help myself :Sorry:
Life insurance wouldn't make much of a difference to Emma. She is the perennial student and can stretch money to ridiculous lengths. On the other front. We all know we all should save for a rainy day...consider me like Noal. If we stopped our business'es today we'd be OK until the end of days. As a footnote being strip washed every day by Emma has brought us even closer. I love her even more and I didn't think that would be possible. Sorry to the people in the apartments opposite as we have no blinds or curtains. Well if they don't like the view they should move.
