Ok I'm back in the room. Been back to hospital twice since my last post here. Loving Uber taxis. The best new company for many years. It was time that the status quo had a real kick up the arse. Just a lovely mix of real every day product and technology. I've a quick trip to St. Mary's tomorrow where I'm being operated on at 07:30. Just a short 30mins job under general anesthetic to remove the 3 wires keeping my hand bones* in place followed by 2 weeks in a wrist split to allow the wrist joint to strengthen. Any one except @Exige with ideas on suitable exercises? *All my left hand bones ended up next to my thumb. Using small holes drilled in my wrist and knuckles the 3 wires are keeping the bones in the same plane as the arm bones and fingers. Only two small incisions and some pliers. Not sure if I'll have stiches or stri_strips.
Squash ball. Squeeze and relax. Nut on a bolt, screw in and out. I used both these for something to do with my hands when I gave up smoking.

So if I've got this right, your advice for AirCon is to go to a beach, sit on a towel and make sand castles? Well why not? It could work.
Noooooo get a little sandpit with dry sand and scoop in hand a and let it fall through your fingers silly
