Bikes don’t cost £20k, same way as cars don't cost £70k, people don’t buy bikes anymore they buy it’s depreciation. As more and more people buy new on PCP so 3-4yrs down the line there are more and more used, the more used stock there is the value drops and so the depreciation rises, combine that with manufacturers raising the rrp to combat the decreasing used value and it will spiral out of control. soon the deprecation will reach 50% (it’s not far off that now) so what a few years ago would buy you the whole bike after 3 years, will only buy you half of it. we shall soon see with the Multi 1260, 3yrs old now a glut should come to market as the pcp ends, some may buy a V4, some will go elsewhere, no matter, I’m just going to watch the prices..........
