I was but it was an accident and they were mortified since I had already gone through in great detail how this was my pride and joy and how much care they needed to take etc .... Plus they are paying for the repairs
That’s probably true for the whole bike. I’ve owned it from new and It’s been serviced every year but never had a ‘deep clean’ before so this is well overdue !
You never could go wrong on a “deep clean” with a 748-998 series, most beautiful bike naked (just a google pic btw)
Ive done this without an extension to loom. If I remember I shall take a pic showing how I asked my ecu nicely to fit the alu subby and monoposto. I'll take a photo on saturday.
I did have to move along the loom finding slack. It fits been this way for ...15yrs or so. (yes i need to clean up under there)
It’s all gone a bit off track since the bike got dropped and has now turned into a proper deep clean and tidy up whilst the damaged parts get repainted by Dream Machine
Not the neatest or organized shop I've ever seen. Could they at least bag the nuts and bolts so they don't get mixed up or lost, kicked on the floor etc. What is so hard about a clean work space? There's a whole 748 in pieces on that one shelf rack. All the hardware is bagged and marked as to where they go, including misc. Pieces parts. My work space and it stays this way when I work on other peoples bikes as well. View attachment 226746
