I was trying to explain why that thread went the way it did The first post was title nominations for BOTY I thought it was one of those funny threads at first with the banter Then the title was changed at some point Maybe it was meant to cause friction

When I saw "Nominations for BOTY", I thought it was "Bum of the Year". I should have realised that the OP was far more likely to have not even thought of posting a "silly thread", as he is most often seen talking sensibly about bikes. That isn't a criticism, by the way. I have no problem with people who just want to talk bikes.
It's just a case of the minority spoiling it for the majority, whilst they think they are the majority and not the majority
