I've entered a few RG500, RC30 raffles sweet F. A so far. Big Beemer would be handy in my garage for mile munching, but Mrs would never believe raffle story
Congrats on the win, must be chuffed as anything with that. However, you still need to insure it regardless don't you? Even if it's sorn'd it's still got to be insured for F&T at least, but as I've found out it's actually cheaper fully comp than F&T, unless you're a gambling man and hope it won't get nicked or damaged... oh wait you are
BeMoto cover my Panigale R and BMW S1000XR for under £700, but older rider and not London (North West). Also, I had to fit a tracker to the Panigale. Hope this helps. Tom.
You can get laid up insurance for bikes not to be ridden ,much cheaper . Footman james provide mine .
Not sure if this might help or not, mate of mine bought a '21 V4s, he was getting quotes for like £1500 for insurance with years and years of NCB, garage'd etc. Dealer recommended they fit a tracker and it literally halved his insurance. Not sure if the SP comes with one as standard but possibly worth looking into. Then try the brokers that you can actually phone and talk to, some may honour some form of discount if you can show your previous riding history and previous proof of NCB
I saw that bike advertised at a dealer, called them, they told me it had been sold. Then i saw it on the competition, bought some tickets and didn't get it . So gutted! The search continues.
Amazing, congratulations and may it be exactly as you expected when you do get to ride it...but fuck that, stick it in a van and put it on a track , i couldn't wait.
To end this thread on a happy note, here is my gimpy grin when it was delivered a couple of days ago (I think there must be a filter on the picture). Onwards I go and now I can finally convince myself that this really did happen!
It seems a long time ago that PB Frenzy's were a thing. I think I had my RGV250 at the time and only remember Jamie Whitham and the Po Boys playing, along with lying in my tent thinking I was going to get run over by one of the crazy guys on bikes zipping around the camp site. Happy days
