1200 Bloody Chain

  1. Granted I don't know anything about your bike. I'm not sure what could be much better about another chain. It takes 185 horses if the MV so that is good enough for me

  2. That is quite a difference. The MV will bite your wallet in other ways ,:)

  3. I don't like that Phil Read anyway....

  4. The free Ognibene chain tool is a one time use only device.... but... Some say.. You can use it a couple of times ....

  5. Right.... time for my snake & pigmy pie...

  6. I disagree with you there. The tool is well made and solid. The flaring bolt doesn't show any signs of wear or distortion and frankly it shouldn't. The flare it produced is uniform. I can't see why this tool wouldn't last many chains. Perhaps the thread of the flaring bolt could eventually wear out but not in my lifetime using it for replacing chains on 2 bikes as and when.

  7. OK... I'm just reading what the manufacturer says on his instructions.... Please feel free to disagree with the manufacturer..... Good news though eh?

  8. If you want longevity my Afam chain and sprockets are past 20000 miles, including track days, with loads of life left, only needed adjusting about 5 times. Best kit I’ve had in 40 years, DID shit in comparison, but it ain’t cheap.
