Off for a week with Mates second week in June not booked any accomodation fancied winging it so taking tent's. Been following some of the advice given on here to help with routes - thanks for the tips!. Probably aim for Leicester to Luss Day 1 as there looks like a few reasonable places to camp, Luss to Applecross day 2 Via the Oban tips Finm gave, Day's 3 / 4's plans were aiming to progress north via Ullapool, then 5& 6 head back down. Ain't fussed if don't see everything as mileage over scenery isn't important. Liked your tips on where to avoid too Thanks
just returned week with 12 other bikers Scotland and Skye from south london ,was lucky with the weather some showers lots of dry roads The great Glen was awesome, Skye wasnt as good as i thought it would be 1.790 miles first tour on my 2014 multi touiring s my only issue wind noise from screen neqaly ended up with tiniutus fantastic fuel return in touring mode ,both tyres now shagged with 4900 miles on clock
