PhilB - as long as its dry, and not taxi driving kids around Bikerbabe - will be there...... Chris - if not incement Nothingbettertodo - if not inclement Crystaljohn If I can find the Higgs bosun particle, funny but I had it a minute a go!
Yes John I can definatly confirm your missing particles are in Switzerland they have found them on the worlds biggest and fastest roundabout . (very easy to get your knee down I'm told))Althoug if I understand the concept correctly you can't really lose them
it's not looking good here folks.. 5 miles from Boxhill and dark, overcast and raining on and off presently. Will be there regardless.
Pirelli Super corsa's OMG! its 'Cats n Dogs' Here at Gatwick! Dreadful,Dreadful,Dreadful! Hope your all well this morning, it now looks like I'm gonna clear that list of chores too do with the way my bike is coughing around at present, I'm sure it would be no fun out there today, still the wife will be happy Oh by the way did I mention that its raining again and we still have a hosepipe ban:frown:
How many turned up, reason we did them every second Saturday is because UKMOC has a meet every 1st Saturday. You have a monster you can double the fun
Me, Chris, Sue( Bikerbabe) and Steve on an 800 monster. Chris kindly supplied the goodies, and the weather was perfect except for small light shower for 5 mins'. We all rode to Bury hill after. Maybe see you there next weekend?
Well - it didn't rain - you woos'es!!! As John said - we were an elite few ..... pics herewith from Ryka's - enjoy - we all had fun. View attachment 3682 View attachment 3684
I liked it a lot and it has grown on me more than I thought. Feels quicker than 900SS and have to get used to wind buffeting and light front end. It's a nice safe feeling to know you can get both feet down easily with more stability due to seat height. Suspension is already set up well with a nice supple feel, rear damper is a Hagon put on by last owner. Have given up on funky revcounter and just bought a read-out tacho from taiwan for £9 posted. I have to take some of the blame for posting in a mood dampening manner - I was aware people were coming 50 miles, possibly from lovely sunshine. It really is just like April - let's hope summer arrives in Sept/Oct then.
Chris I say it to any monster owner, some people do not agree, get a steering damper. Only exception is if you are a wheelie nutter. That bike goes very light at front at speed with luggage, over crests in road and sometimes general bumps. If you a wheelie nutter you will be used to it, if not get a damper. To this day I am bit afraid to wind it open lots from even average lean. I know it will go slightly up and might endup with tank slapper
You are totally right L and meant to add to above, it definitely needs a damper on the steering as acceleration is aggressive enough to cause malady if not thinking straight (NPI)
