I think I just threw up a little inside my mouth, and died a little bit inside, both at the same time. :frown:
I'd buy the Ducati coffee maker.... after all, I do have the Alfa Romeo wine bottle stopper (I'm a sucker for this sort of stuff) *turns from keyboard and sips camomile tea from his Alfa Romeo coffee mug* I'd like to jest, but everything typed above is true and happening right now......
Well, a mug. Yeah fine. I'd do a Ducati mug, or an Alfa one, or a Fender, one, a Gibson one or a Dainese one. In fact, I think I might pick up a London 2012 one when I come to the UK in a week's time. But I'm not about to buy Ducati socks or an Alfa satin jacket. Ugh!
I like little old badges. / patches and stuff. Oh a little model bikes One thing I can't abide is knock off gear .. Has to be the real deal .
I own 2 Ducati tee shirts; one expensive genuine one, which is too small :-( and an ebay knock-off, which is great
I kinda want the gear but I cant help but feel its all a bit ostentatious, its like...`I dont know if u didnt hear me coming or see the delicious red of my bike to see im on a rather expensive bike, its my little treat-for a sunny sunday only of course. so in case u didnt see me pull up iv drapped myself in ducati leathers so u can see me and instantly tell im a flash git even before iv gotten to the bike and put my ducati key into the ignition` #jingle jingle# cant help but feel that its the same as that balding 40ish man with a Ferrari. And cap. And jacket. And wallet. And sunglasses. And socks, white. And watch. Great to be in the get up, thack around and back indoors but for cutting about in, no BUT they do look good and we all secretly want them
Each to his own but this branding bollix is not for me. Surely you should have your own lifestyle not some corporate dream ?
"Energy and power characterize the 'Ducati Corse' line, born to offer the best performances in terms of safety and control and to thrill the racing appeal" ... yeah right
