Well the usual disclaimer for doing any electrical work would be to always disconnect the battery, better safe than sorry and all that!.........however I didn't (pain in the arse with the Mutley as Dash settings default and any other custom settings [DTC, ABS, Suspension etc etc] are lost and have to be reprogrammed) - all the lighting circuits/relays should be isolated (not live) with the ignition off.
