Corbyn has superb judgement, matched with Abbots superb maths skills. Yes. Who could blame the dirty old rascal for giving this one, too?
actually, it wasnt that long ago when me good mate francois declerk was booted out the country with his mrs who had british residency. a v,talented mechanic as all S/A mechanics are, and theres a skills shortage in that sector.
Whilst people focus on the N.I. issue and the backstop, the trade mention is in her deal too and it goes like this. If we negotiate with ANY country the eu has a deal with and we manage to get a better deal than the eu currently has, the eu can veto it. There are several little things going on in Mays deal that seem to be pushed into dark corners in the hope some only see Ireland.
This is the bit I don't get, by my thinking, our current agreements are as part of the EU, probably to favour the EU. If we leave there is a (slim) hope we can find some politicians capable of negotiating deals that are better for the UK, or am I wrong ?
And yet if you believe the reaminers. Nothing will be sold, created, bought, moved etc etc, until a deal is done. This is the mind set of some of those who do not want anything other than remain. They only see the impact on the U.K. and no one else whilst if they were honest would realise as the 5th biggest economy, no one can afford to delay or stop selling us stuff.
Exactly this. New trade deals will come at a price. Given that so many politicians have financial interests that will not match those of the UK economy, be worried. Carte blanche.
We should leave based on the largest modern democratic vote majority wish to. That's how democratic votes work
That's very true of the media ( I don't read the papers). I'd say both sides of the argument are the same in this, the BBC make me cringe by saying things like 'No Deal, which nobody wants' very one sided.
Sky has been like this as has channel 4 news, however, the last few days sky whilst doing it through gritted teeth, seem to be discussing the wto/free trade deal option and are asking more questions than the usual default cliff edge scare story.
The vast majority of politicians only want remain. They can't however say democracy majority votes work when it gives them personal employment, then see other majority peoples democratic votes as optional As to business, they have spent ages getting the best deals and systems that works for the top end and the multinationals, the same people even labourites say we need to be chasing for better wages, better conditions and a fairer distribution of wealth. Obviously when it comes to business, most hate democracy, they want the workers to shut up, do their job and keep quiet. Brexit on the other hand showed the people that they do still have a voice no matter what business thinks, I mean, I remember multiple workers during the lead up to the vote being on the news saying their employer told them in papers sent out to every worker and at team talks, which way the company favoured and it's for their future that the company would hope workers understood that too. Democracy is great isn't it, people having an equal voice but at some point a majority decision will be made
We seem to be stuck with a pretty unimpressive bunch of politicians right now, sure enough. Imho, remainers say better the devil we know and quitters are quite happy to risk jumping out of the frying pan straight into the fire saying how hot can it be?
This did make me chuckle. Your proof now is, majority votes are acted upon but not the majority ones you don't want acted on? Can you confirm?
