British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  2. Some leavers voted for a Norway or Canada++ agreement. These were two of the principal options put forward by Leave.
To claim certainty that everyone who voted to leave did not want Norway or Canada++ agreement is disingenious or a complete misunderstanding of the situation.

  3. Sounds good to me, what a great suggestion.
Not only is the country split, the leavers are split and can’t agree amongst themselves.
Again, hard and soft were invented after the vote, when May came up with Brexit means wrecks it. Leave means grieve.
Leave won by means of a very effective campaign.
Before that campaign there was no majority for leave as you imply there was.

  4. Exactly, someone remembers the facts. Not a crash out and burn exit at all. But a new deal....

I think freedom of movement is what will have to give to get a new deal through with the EU.

BJ made a quick cameo appearance last night after the vote. That man is a feking eejit. Wonder what room the ERG lot are hiding in today, scheming as ever for something that improves their secret business interests ??

  15. The positive's we can take from all of this are

1 despite the eu saying you will die without us, it's shown quite the reverse and that when one of your best players leaves the team, the team struggles and the impact will be huge on the eu
2 all this pissandry and feckdom could have been avoided had we gone from minute one at article 50, following free trade and wto, both sides would have known the boundaries, so would have business. As a reference guide to any other country who leaves, do not let the eu run the game, they tried to bully and it's backfired, go straight to wto/free trade
3 such is the eu's wish to control how we leave that can only mean they know away from them, the U.K. will flourish once it's on it's feet, we sir, are no fecking banana republic and have never liked bullies
4 With friends like the eu project, who needs enemy
5 the eu project is like that cvnt of a lawyer that steps in between two people divorcing who were divorcing as friends but then the eu nastyness kicks in
    6 because I can
