British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. That's crazy as we'll be so short of food, there won't be any waste!

So that's stinking waste, water pollution, electricity cuts, fuel shortages, Motorways full of queuing trucks, mass unemployment with civil unrest, house price crash, currency worthless, and no food. Or, could they be exaggerating a little ;)

  7. Who needs satnav?

There will be no roads. No cities. No buildings. No pubs.

    But look behind it.
    • Sunderland Plant has never built X-Trail previously
    • X-Trail was a supplementary model to be built alongside new Qashqai, as it's on the same platform.
    • The diesel market has collapsed since the announcement of the plans to build it and demand is not there. It was announced in 2016, post Brexit vote, but well before the diesel crisis.
    • X-Trail has previously been built in Barcelona, St. Petersburg and now in Japan. Was Brexit the reason for the move from Barcelona & Russia?
    • It was intended to be a "filler model" with a low yearly volume.
    • These things happen all the time before a contract is signed. Remeber the Nissan Tilda? Nope, because it was planned and pulled before it got to the contract stage.
    • Preparations for new Juke are well underway with the 1st trial bodies already at the plant.
    • LEAF & Qashqai are also there.
Bunt none of that matters does it Dukey?...........BREXIT!!!!!!!!!!! BREXIT!!!!!!!

  13. So Nissan have joined the “scaremongers” now., along with Jaguar-Land-Rover, Airbus etc.
When will they realise that not a single self-respecting brexiteer believes a word they say and everything is going to be just fine.

  14. Like you Rob I suspected the usual candidates would try and promote this as we will lose existing jobs and the truth is as you say.

It's like me saying I will buy a v4 next year, then next year comes and I don't, some of the doom mongerers would report it as ducati sales slump but brexit did it honest

It's now become so precictable that you can almost see the companies making changes and which ones are being honest
