Either way it will cost us monies..... If EU doesn't protect out farmers than they might end up unemployed so still paid by taxpayers. I would rather pay 10% more for EU goods than import from somewhere else. To be honest in teh big scheme of things food is not very expensive in UK (compared to wages) Biggest issue is a global market without global standards...Donald Trump has a fair point with regards to this.
I think the seeds are sown... The "only deal available" - rejected (twice) Leaving without a deal, ever - rejected There is only one option left - don't leave
That should please Jaguar Land Rover and give their UK sales a good boost. Same for other good UK car producers but not you Honda, you're bad!
You are quite incorrect, the vote was the houses opinion and not enforceable, as it was in January when they did the same thing.
They have just recalled 44.000 cars for CO2 emissions so I don't think Ralf will be worrying about blaming his poor business planning on Brexit anymore not in the short term anyhoo
I know what the default legal position is mate ... I don't believe the EU will let it happen though, as it would be the worst possible outcome for them. I think they will grant an extension and we will end-up with a Softer Brexit or maybe no Brexit at all. I think you and your swivel-eyed loons on the populist Nationalist extreme Brexiter end of the ERG have lost. I said this would happen last year and I think I'm going to be proven right. In fact .... I've put the Champagne on ice
Good to see you are treating this as an exercise in choice and democracy rather than just a Coqwomble!
The will of the people in 2016 was almost evenly split between Leave and Remain ... so the hardest of Leaves would not be best representative of all the people’s will. This ultimately is why it has failed to get sufficient support in Parliament. As a representative democracy Parliament was always bound to move towards more of a compromise in the form of a softer Brexit. Though I voted Remain I hope this happens - and think it will. A small minority of populist Nationalist extreme Brexiters will squeal, as will a few hard-line Remainers ... but a softer Brexit compromise has the best chances of being tolerable by the vast majority on both sides who are reasonable, moderate people ... and hence giving us the best chance of moving forward and healing divisions within the country. If a consensus can’t be reached in Parliament then a General Election or a People’s Vote is likely.
