Just catching up a bit ... been off in the real world for a while. Tell me @Loz @noobie @Exige et al ... have you changed your positions at all or are you even more Brextremist than even Mogg and Boris ... more like the DUP and the swivel-eyed loons in the hard knot of self-styled “Spartans” (really?) in the ERG? C’mon spill the beans .... what’s the crazy nick-name you have taken for yourselves in the private Brexit messages or WhattsApp group you share with each other? I just know you have one ;-) The Light Brigade? The 7th Cavalry? The Rorkes Drift Rebels? The Alamo Allies? ... add more suggestions here ;-)
Yes I did. Surely it was, Non, Nien, He, Non, Non, Non, Nee and O’hi...... Last night the EU deal (to call it May's deal is a misnomer of the highest order) wasn't voted on. PS It's the ONLY deal the EU have agreed to...
Sometimes I hate being right. May set up as fall guy with no chance of securing a deal 2 years ago with boris to ride in on white horse and save the day.. what a fucking mess
Do you mean have all the people that voted leave seen the light and decided remain were right all along ?
Yeah, okay , now where was we Loz and exige are more than capable than speaking for themselves. For me after 42 years of being lied to in what we had signed up for, the government and the majority of both houses put a vote to us, all parties agreed they would respect the vote, even the eu said they would respect the vote. Legal positions were put in law to allow it and respect it. Using the legal out of the eu, article 50 and the legal procedure of the U.K. we took a vote and gave the government a majority peoples democratic mandate. I'm still waiting for the leave part to happen. There is a movement for brexiteers, it's called "the peoples democratic majority vote to leave the eu" and it has over 17.4 members, what's yours called?
You are deluded and clearly don’t live anywhere near the real world But you are very welcome to your selfish views on the EU
Maybe you missed the election result when, the Conservatives lost their majority. Its worth pointing out that their election was fought on delivering Brexit. Yesterday the law seems to have changed a bit. The exit date changed. Therefore everything is there to be changed or adapted. You know my view, remain, but I am leaning towards a softer brexit than Mays as being a pragmatic solution. It might surprise you, I dont now feel that another referendum vote (same vote, same questions) is viable. It would just lead to more division in the country and more hate. Tory direction needs to change a bit and most people could be mostly happy.
the government direction is unlikely to change because too many of the media are so busy speculating on who the next leader would be. She said she would leave IF her deal is agreed, if we leave through any other deal or no deal then she remains till the next election 2022
Kinda. If you're feeling generous. Except in the UK's case the individual states within the Federal republic have next to no power and the Federal Government rules with an iron fist (within a kid-skin glove) : o O
maybe this should be tested. give us a shout after youve sold 80hours in a 90 hour week and we shall see. Mr H,Been.
No, I am perfectly aware of what democracy is. I would just like to understand why you think another vote, after 3 years of this bullshit, is not a good idea? Maybe it's because you're scared of losing? If you don't like voting, why did you vote against the original 1975 vote? Can't have it both ways...
