British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I don’t think any of them expected the leave vote.
She did campaign for remain though, no ?

  4. they wrote up a list of proposals. the fifth wealthiest nation could of walked.
    no prob.

  5. Are many of them principled ?

The politicians that seem to stay constant on their views are the ones that have one thing in mind, Farage, Sturgeon etc.

  7. Hopefully will do.

The vote was binary because the choice is binary, anything other than a clean break and a chance to build forward, is worse than the deal we currently have.

  8. i dont think forage heads a gov i dont think he even attended the commities he was supposed to. maybe if he did he could prove whats poosible, rather than just spout whitabootery.. opposition is easy. its delivering what counts

  12. It was more to point out to those extreme remainers who say you did not know what you were voting for but seem to have forgotten before the vote, that both sides, in and on national media regularly, were making it very clear what was being voted for in regards to the customs union and single market should people vote to leave

  13. True, but on principles he campaigned for leave and is still saying leave.

  14. We have an election looming in the very near future (few weeks), most of the world, if not all, don't realise it, or care.
Funnily enough, I think that's a good thing.

There really is some fucked up political shit going on round the world at the mo :).

  16. You do mean the same Farage with the lowest attendance of any MEP? Farage has a well organised media presence which gets his views publicised. I have no problem with that, and his low attendance did not break any rules either.

However you could say he turns up only at controvesial debates, makes sensationalist comments which he is very careful to get on film which gurantees a large income from being dispersed through his media program.

  17. But the point is a lot of discussion took place, a lot of things were said at different points in time, but as we were going to vote it could not have been clearer - so this post is total bollocks and you know it.
It could not have been clearer as the vote approached what all the main politicians and all the news broadcasters were airing - so PISH the Finm, total and utter false news, false history crapmongering from you - but thanks for the silliness :):upyeah:

  18. Picked a bad example didn’t I :)

Originally it was about May campaigned for remain but is now trying to leave.
Fin mentioned principles, I was trying to say whether you agree with Farage or Sturgeon etc at least they are talking about the same thing.

I don’t mean Farage and Sturgeon agree, I mean they haven’t changed what they are on about.

Oh funk it, I give up.

  19. What is total bollox is saying Vote Leave and get single market/ Uninterupted Free Trade / customs Union, and afterwards claiming that simply Leave without any deal is the same.

Try selling your belts on a similar premise and see how well you get on?
