British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  1. the 2016 reff was not legally binding. i dont think any reff in the uk is. their was no guarantee that the 2014 reff would of been delivered despite the Edinburgh Agreement. there's mountains of stuff on it. even without the GFA i dont think it would of gone through because of the result in scotland. we where supposed to have disappeared after 2014. they where never expecting the landslide in 2015 and as any senior tory will tell you the 2017 GE was only held to Give the SNP a bloody nose and increase the majority for the Tory Gov. she blew it. not intentionally as some of the tin hatters will attempt to argue.
the simple fact of the matter is, rUK cant afford brexit without the resources of Scotland. we all know what they are, and you can add fresh water to that list now too. let alone the estimated 5bill per year just to park yer nukes.
for you lot. " now is not the time".

  2. You sir speak the truth.
It will be interesting when/if the cry babies get their democratic vote ignored, but then again they do as their told by their masters so that’s unlikely to happen.
I despair at this country sadly.

  8. Although you continue to ignore the countless video's showing it would be acted on, the minute they launched article 50 it was a legal requirement

Scotlands referendum has much in line with brexit in that despite the result, your devolved government ignored that too despite the peoples voice

as any senior tory will tell you the 2017 GE was only held to Give the SNP a bloody nose and increase the majority for the Tory Gov.

I always admire your ability to make everything about Scotland fin but the 2017 election was about mistakingly thinking they could bury Labour because of Corbyn, the snp loosing a third of thier mp's was just an added bonus.

the simple fact of the matter is, rUK cant afford brexit without the resources of Scotland.

The simple fact is the resources of the uk are the resources of the uk no matter how much you try and claim them

I take it you will now should brexit not happen, take it up with the eu about the powers you say are being grabbed by them?:D

  10. it still doesn't make it legally binding the 6 Scottish politicians proved in court. it can also be revoked. thank them you ungrateful oik.

aye, but the people put them back in power and got the SNP telt. that's what Scottish sovereignty and the claim of right is. along with the Greens there is a majority for another indi reff. i cant help it if you dont know jack.

i'v never admired your inability to see the UK as anything other than essex

only for as long as we remain an equal and respected.... part of the UK

i can only imagine the Scottish gov will. or take it up with the Scottish people if Westminster wont.

  12. Show me on this poster where it says that giving the NHS £350 million a week is merely a suggestion...

  14. Please don’t put words into my mouth. It really boils my piss. I didn’t say “we shouldn't be acting upon it.” Quite the contrary if you read my earlier posts.

I was just explaining why we are where we are. A lot of people on here seem to think May is leading a conspiracy. Not true in my opinion. Rather she is inept and circumstances are against her.

  17. Steady on, I’m on your side! I’m saying it will be interesting when the boot is on the other foot in the future.
They don’t seem to care about the damage that is being done to democracy as long as they get their own way!!
Now you and Aircon can kindly remove the crap indication from my post!!! Pair of imps!!!

  18. I’m bored with arguing with them though, they are far too easy and start crying, so I’m attacking us now, more of a challenge, especially when I can’t understand what you are saying :bucktooth:
