There are two democratic choices - Leave with "a Deal", or Leave with "No Deal". The EU has made it abundantly clear that they will not allow the UK to leave with a Deal that does not harm the UK's interests and the Government has made it absolutely clear that they are in full agreement with the EU. Thus realistically the only outcome that respects the democratic process and protects the interests of the UK, is to leave on WTO ("No Deal") terms. There are numerous anti-democratic options - Full Remain, Pretend Leave, hold another referendum, various permutations of those. I predict one of the anti-democratic outcomes will occur but I "expect" the UK Government to act on the Referendum result in a democratically consistent, meaningful way : o )
Then there is the "drain the swamp, get rid of long term politicians and elites" guy. Farage, with no party, no manifesto, refusing to disclose who his backers are, ostensibly saving us from people exactly like himself, who is making a shed load of cash on the side -eg 20,000 supporters x £25 =£500,00 for Nige- must be in the wrong catagory!
He was a commodities broker and not a banker. That may seem little difference but portrays just how many inaccuracies his opponents are prepared to accept just because they dislike him. He didn't refuse to disclose where party funds had came from. I saw the interview with sophie ridge on sky and he was very clear, the majority of the £2 million raised was from £25 donations and membership fee's. He also admitted to one donor who had given £100,000 to the brexit party but wished to remain anonymous for now but knew when the party accounts had to be declared later in the year, that person would have to be declared as per the rules. The reason why some hate Farrage is (1) he is a very confident leader who can muster many behind him (most of the parties do not have that and (2) he unplugged enough people to see what was going on with British and european politics. Undoubtedly one of the most influential politicians of our times

I send no party any money, that could be a good beer up money, tsk. Essex it seems was quite vocal and not as sheepish as many in the labour party. The tories did not take a pasting, they were given a right good slapping by those (the voters) who normally vote for them for not doing as they were told. They were told, leave the eu. After 3 years the closest they have gotten to is having tried to sell what level of remain can we get away with, whilst claiming its leave.
