British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. its an odd kind of kicking
    • They lost control of Chelmsford City Council to the Liberal Democrats, where they had held a 45-seat majority
    • The Tories retained control of Castle Point, Rochford, Braintree, Epping, Maldon and Brentwood Councils

  2. Why odd? They were shown their traditional vote is never guarranteed if they forget who they are meant to represent and the others saw a drop in voting.

A two pronged reminder fin, do as you promised or we will vote for others or not vote at all, your seat is not your right, it has to be earned

  3. but 6 councils where retained. it seems their happy with no brexit. another went to libdems, they want no brexit. it seems essex doesent want brexit.

  4. That's because your part cornish part heathen fin. The vote was to remind them, no matter what the end result, the voters, not the mp's, control Essex

On the local council and the upcoming euro elections, we can remind them of that and do remind them of that

  5. by suporting them or voting for pro EU partys?
why do ununists always bring up religion btw?

  6. I doubt that Noob will like the probable result of a second referendum - which is looking more likely.

  7. I can see the remainers are struggling, this is why Essex needs to educate you :D

It doesn't matter who we voted for in the local council elections, the fact we could give the mp's a kick in the crunch box, was to remind mp's we will not roll over and will rather vote for anyone else but you.

It reminds our mp's that peoples vote can still change things more than some remainers still fighting a 2016 decision

Given how many tory councillors were removed, kinda shows people power still works

  8. but they didnt realy vote, on mass, for anybody else.

  9. the bbc funnily enough. 6counils retained one went to libdems a tory lost his seat to the greens, another pro EU party.
    essex doesent want brexit anymore.

  10. Yes it does, they were protest votes to show voters still retain the power and not the mp's.

Fin, if the snp stood in Essex, we would have voted for them just to prove a point :D

  11. What will be the question being put to the electorate?

Heh. As if I didn't know.

  12. May & Corbyns Deal or Remain of course!

  13. the resent election says otherwise noob. but fair point about the SNP standing for election in english seats. you would be surprised the suport they would get for that. plenty centre/left leaning and pro remain votes to be had down there.

  14. If that idiot Cameron had set up the 2016 Referendum as "Remain vs Don't Leave", it would have saved a lot of aggro.

  15. It will be interesting to see which option wins though! Total Remain or mostly Remain?

  16. Was brexit a protest vote too, or did people vote for what they wanted? Dangerous argument noobs.

  17. Preferably wholly Remain.

We won't be tied to an International Treaty that no UK Government can undo if we don't sign up to the WA.

Instead, we'll be tied to a superstate that no Government seems to be able to leave.

    Oh. Wait ...

Meh. Time to renew my US passport, at least the USA has a Head of State that isn't treasonous and is prepared to stand up for ordinary citizens.

  18. He does manage to find racism in practically everything that moves or breathes, rather unfortunate really as in a lot of instances he's probably correct, but by being so over the top in some instances he clouds his own points to those who he wants to listen.

    His own worse enemy
