Do the maths. Remain vote was split but beats the Leave vote nationally. The pendulum has swung some to Remain but it is still so desperately close. As I’ve said all along, the reasonable approach would be to seek a compromise, and if that proves impossible then put a more carefully crafted and explained choice to the electorate in another referendum. This is still what I think will happen ultimately ... and fear not, the unreasonable extremists WILL be thwarted. Either that or we leave with No Deal on Halloween ... how apt. Only April 1st would be more appropriate LOL!
Surely he never was a politician. No one ever voted for him. He was just appointed as a spin doctor. He wasn’t an MP or minister.
Glid does this all the time. He types his posts then goes back to actually read them later but they send him to sleep. Many a times he's woken up at the computer desk with a cheese fondue splosh on his mush and a toblerone in his hair.
It’s just that weirdly, Glid also has a life off-line too and just doesn’t have the time to spend all day on here making the same points. I just drop in for entertainment value now and then, especially if it’s raining. I do try to follow what I’ve missed though, up to a point. I see that people making well- reasoned and valid arguments are still being deliberately misinterpreted or laughed to scorn, so little changes.
I shan’t be sticking around though. You and the other extremists on here have destroyed any sense of joy or respect I once had for this place. I’ll only be back to rub your noses in it later. Other than that, I won’t waste my time.
And there is your problem, cry baby I am pro Europe more so than you (but not the EU) you are just far too selfish to even bother debating: without being totally and utterly stupid about it all - thank you and goodbye
The democratic majority peoples vote asked to leave the eu, the politicians refuse to do so, how does being unhappy with that Dave, make you an extremist pray tell?
Sorry Dave, but you get a hand bag for that post. The political threads are best avoided for those who prefer the less confrontational side of this brilliant forum.
UK European elections 2019: Brexit Party dominates as Tories and Labour suffer https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48417228 Despite not knowing what they were voting for 3 years ago it’s seems the people of the U.K. still support leaving the Eu ?
