British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Huge congratulations to Liverpool who, after adding Chelsea's share to their final points total have absolutely romped home! Commiserations, Pep. Maybe next season... #RemainLogic

  3. Turns out that Pagham has actually produced four MEPs, making it by far the most successful pissant UK backwater in the European Parliament elections.

In your face, other pissant UK backwaters!

  4. Cannibalism?

  5. using snp maths according to sturgeon today

Actually remain won the euro elections. If you look at the brexit party and then add up every single parties result who wanted remain, we had the most seats, so we won.

Now, this is the standard they now see as acceptable, I know they do as Blackwood also today said the same thing.

So returning to the Scottish results in the 2017 general election

The snp won with a 36.9% of the vote (percentage just for fin :D) or in numbers 476,867

Using the snp's own eu way of maths, in the 2017 general election

Those who offered something different to the snp, captured 63.1% or in numbers 1,654,017 so they won and not the snp.

Yes, that is the stupidity level that the remain side have sunk too : unamused:

n.b. for your indi thread fin , the orkneys and shetlands, the islands closest to the oil, voted lib dems and NOT the snp, tick tock

  7. For the record, Pagham has no oil resources beyond the occasional suntan lotion spill that drifts in from neighbouring Aldwick's beach.

Them and their fancy Aldwick ways.

  9. Are you sure, Lidsey isn’t that far away so there may be untapped oil reserves just waiting for a good fracking?

  12. Well fin, I use 2017 because it's the most recent

The snp aren't a real party are they. When they win a democratic vote, they abide by the rules of democratic votes.

When they lose they throw the very same rules out of the window and either want another go or insist if you add up everyone who didn't vote like the winner then the losers won. It just the sillyness of a toy town party

  13. yip, and when they lose their majority they bribe terrorists with a bill and some.
    aye, its no easy.

  14. That's better, good yin :kissing:

  19. I admire your deflections fin but you really are still avoiding why when you win, you respect that democratic majority decision but when you lose, it's fuck democracy unless it's your version?
