Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Not here McFluffy - all is cool :upyeah:

  2. now now, you got that back to front
vote no, remain in the EU.
    vote no, get devo max.
    lead, dont leave.
i think democrassey for you is, being telt, by them.
for us its, getting them telt.
its a hard one for yous sheep to understand i know.

  3. hmm, do you/did you, shun the clique or join the clique?

  4. Neither

  5. Pagham Parish Council is so committed to democracy, they only allow votes on issues where they are prepared to accept the result, whichever way it goes.

If you don't allow ballots on controversial issues, you don't ever have to ride roughshod over democratic principles!

I believe there are other pissant UK backwaters that could learn a thing or two from PPC.

  6. aye, but if you change the medication you will see things differently. i think yer on the "uppers" at the mo. sure of it.

  7. sadly bud, thats not how i see it. maybe i should change my medication too. or, maybe even try some.

  10. How so? Many u.k. mep's live in europe unless you think they all get caught in the rush hour from the U.K. each morning?

If you were a bit more level headed :D you see the snp situation is exactly the same where the body they want to leave , is the very place that pays their wages, they work in and live close to it

  11. Stop playing games. He lived there before wanting to be a Brexit MEP.

  13. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again for those that are hard of thinking.......yes I voted remain, and once I got my head around the result, even though I still think it’s a stupid one, I’ve said let’s just get on with it.

  15. Shows you how stupid the general public is to get taken in by this hypocrisy and all the lies.

  16. i'm pretty sure montieth along with george galloway (who also voted for brexit) was never off the tv back in 2014. telling us leaving the EU would be madness.

  17. have to ask why you are not so offended by snp politicians working within westminster, knowing they want to break up the U.K. whilst taking commons wages?

you forgot to mention he was moving back to the U.K. before being asked to run for the brexit party and yes fin, he is also a contributor to the scotsman, funny people they be

  18. And this is for the UK parliament (see below) - I would imaging a MEP can live in Europe - what about the Greek Ex Prime minister running for election in Germany last week? He couldn't even speak the language and was debating on German TV in English with his adversaries... no one on the news screamed about that  what's changed, ah! Brexit won again :joy:

Do MPs have to live in their constituency?

MPs do not have to live in their constituency. In fact, there is no residency qualification at all - an MP could even live outside the UK. There are, however, nationality and age qualifications and a number of other disqualifications for MPs.
