British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Of course I understand Mrs May

Absolutely I understand but then, most people would accept if a cat farted the wrong way, the snp would be looking for another referendum, it's what they do.

  2. yip, and if they discoverd a cure for cancer you would say they where doing it just to screw over big pharma.

  10. You been on grindr again ain't ya?

  11. I have no doubt that would be the case.

But that’s democracy. I live in London, don’t think Brexit is a good idea but I accept it.

London is not a country - Scotland is. Scotland was told if it left the U.K. it would not get into the EU. Now it’s leaving. So it is entitled to go back and ask its citizens again what they want to do. I will look forward to applying for me Scottish/EU Passport

  12. What’s Grindr?

  14. Daisley, what an arse. May as well have called for Martial Law

  15. I wasn’t disagreeing, I also think Scotland would be entitled to another indi ref if the U.K. leaves the Eu.
What I was wondering is, are the Scottish more likely to accept a close result either way, or would it be the same as Brexit with all the fuss after a close vote.

  16. Alan, if the UK leaves the EU, and then Scotchland votes to leave the UK, and then Scotchland votes to join the EU, and then the EU implodes as it is expected to in the next few years ... should there be a British referendum to determine whether we allow the Scottish to rejoin the UK? Or should we just leave the door open for them?

  17. I don’t see why people’s reaction would be any different.

The only differences I see between Scots and English is you are much more self confident as a nation and you lose your mind when you go in a voting booth. Otherwise much the same.

I mean how can you vote for a party that thinks it’s ok to Implement policies like

    PIP - kills people
Handcuffing female prisoners to beds while in childbirth
Universal credit with a 5 week wait time - kills people

I could go on and on with one barbaric policy after another. What are you thinking?
