?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. A very good point. There is no denying that the Tories (and their predecessors , Blair's Tory-lite) have been terrible for the country.

When I think how much worse it would be, with Corbyn and his crew in charge and runaway Socialism shrinking the economy and the politburo pissing money away on their socialist chums in an orgy of corruption and inefficiency ... I actually shudder.

You are right. At least under the Tories, there are actual food banks and no pets are being eaten. Be grateful for small blessings. Cheers, pb!

  2. Merkel asked Labours front bench if they had any vacancies, she said she missed the old days when she was in the stasi and wanted to relive her youth :D

  7. I don’t see anyone saying they agree with you and the two others who use it a lot also think Trump is great. Why might that be?

I have lived here long enough and encountered it enough for it not to bother me. I don’t find it offensive anymore but others who are new to the forum probably will. And that’s not good.

Moreover, you may just find yourself using your casual xenophobia in a public place and end up picking your teeth up off the floor because someone there decides that’s what you deserve. That was the reaction of my some of two of my mates in Scotland and they wouldn’t think twice.

Most importantly, it’s not up to you to decide what is “endearing” and what isn’t

  8. I have and it’s shocking. The woman who worked there was telling me about a mother who came in and while she was waiting to be attended to was dipping her hand into a box of Rice Krispies and eating them one by one.

Meanwhile Johnson doesn’t know what the minimum wage is

  10. Corbyns socialism is to the right of Merkels Germany

Just a wee fact for you there.

Many reasons to think Corbyn is unelectable but that’s not one

  12. Why don’t you go off and find one post, that has the phrase “the Scottish” that isn’t married to a comment which is derisory or negative?

Or more difficult, find one that’s positive.

    They are overwhelmingly negative.

  13. Socialism isn't a destination, it's a journey.

It's a journey to the Left. And the worse things get, the more Left-wards it heads. History teaches us this.

Bit like the EU - no matter how badly wrong it's going, the answer is always "More EU!".

Just some big-ass facts for you.

  15. To be fair, I can think of another forum member, a very well-respected one who has more than a dash of dignity to him, who is irritated by the term "Scottish".

I am a little sorry that he doesn't see it as a mark of affection but he doesn't make a fuss. In fact, out of deference to his feelings, I would possibly desist, but then that would upset some of the more excitable forum members who would very much miss the source of outrage and righteousness they enjoy from our playful and affectionate banter.

    What a predicament!

  17. some on here have said you cant wave yer st george cross because it got hijacked by the english defence league.
its kinda the same with the "Scottish" thing. over the last decade or so, you often find "Scottish" is preceded with, the scrounging ect ect ect stereotype by your leaders and commentators. while i dont believe exeige, is bright enough to be that vindictive, but when you look at all the other condescending pish you get from the likes of those two, its not beyond the realms of possibility that they're going out their way to be offensive. its been pointed out to them by the likes of JV who worked up here for years, you just dont say it unless yer looking for a reaction. personally i couldn't really give a fuck. i know what they are and i dont suffer from the Cringe as many Scots still do.
