British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  4. Let's play a game.

The UK has stated that it will spy for China.

Trump TrumpTrumpTrump says, "Do not spy for China or no trade deal".

Would you say your outrage was higher, lower ... or about the same?

  5. yip, that's how it works. i wonder if you can see the contradictions in yer latest tommeh post.
just which super power to do you want to be controlled by? or contribute too. i dont think i am on the US electoral roll. not yet anyhoo.

  6. Everything is just a game to you @Loz.

I’m fully aware of the Huawei issue. My point is that you guys think that ‘threatening’ No Deal somehow gives us the upper hand, when in reality it just puts us at the mercy of every other major trading block (including the EU!), as they all know damn well we will be absolutely *desperate* to agree trade deals ASAP.

Desperation is not a good negotiating position.

Sure, everyone will want to trade with the UK, but we’ll be in no position to get the “great deals” promised by the Leave Campaign.

  7. What makes you think the clean break deal is a threat?

  8. WTF is the “clean break Deal”?

    Apart from a soundbite?

  9. You know what a clean break deal is. The vote was to leave the eu and therefore the control of the eu. Every other suggestion is not leave but what level of control do you still want to have from the eu.

A clean break deal gives us that clean break and in line with that as a third country, the ability to chose our own future

  10. The only ‘deal’ available is May’s Deal (which some think could be tweaked).

Otherwise we leave on October 31st without a deal. Come on, this is not new stuff - it’s been three fecking years.

  11. We leave on october the 31st knowing we can create our own deal. I know it's been 3 years, it should have been 2 but the remainers in the house of commons and lords did not do as they were told

  12. That was written by the EU, it isn't Mays deal :yum

  14. Almost the entire Brexiter negotiating position has been based on: “we must play hard ball, keep the threat of No Deal on the table - they need our trade just as much as we need theirs”.

You guys have been arguing that *forever*...

But I think it’s a bit mean of the rest of you guys to keep leading him on like this :p

  19. We have sought a deal if possible but the small print in the deal the eu told us was mays deal, it says it is not negotiable. Fair enough. No deal clean break is now the popular option having wasted 3 years listening to tail waggers trying to overturn democracy. ONWARDS
