  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Just had a look at the BBC article regarding Bliar's BS.

Creepy, manipulative, lying fecker, someone should give him a good stroke.

  2. There is a fine line between accepting the democratic will of the people, whilst still campaigning for change, and undermining the democratic process.
The Scots as a nation voted to remain part of the UK, and remain in the EU, whilst the UK as a whole voted to leave the EU. That is a pretty difficult mix to resolve to the satisfaction of all.
I think Nippy is overstepping the line and exceeding what she is constitutionally allowed to do by going beyond the devolved powers into areas reserved for Westminster. She is playing politics with the sole aim of breaking up the Union, to the detriment of the UK, something that a majority of Scots voted to remain within. She has lost any sympathy I might have had for her personally but that is probably part of her strategy in that the more she can piss people off south of the border the more likely she is to achieve her number one objective.
I hope and believe that the majority of Scots will continue to support the Union and that a viable alternative to the SNP will emerge soon.

  3. been reading again jv? :smileys:
strange argument to suggest that by going after what your electorate wants thats building up resentment? even by suggesting it it tells me allot about how complacent or willing to go with the flow some down south have become. no disrespect intended but maybe even how arrogant some places in the uk have become. again another reason lab/tory dont exist in any real numbers up here
altho it would be nice, she doesn't need your sympathy jv. i got news for you JV. the latest stats show me they would be the third biggest party uk wide if they where to stand candadates uk wide.
rooth the mooth aint gonna be first minister any time soon or ever for that matter. with 15% at the GE and 20odd% at hollyrood. 95% of her MSP's got in through the list. i am afraid the torygraph is lying to you. again.
    :smileys:

  4. The A68 looks like a biking road. Is it any good?

  5. I've posted something like this before, but Tony Blair was elected in 2005 with a majority of 750,000 votes and 35% of the national vote.

Brexit got voted for by a majority of approx. 1.25m and 52% of the national vote.

I never heard him calling for a re-run of the 2005 General Election. :Meh:

  6. Not really @Gimlet It has it's places, but it generally too straight. However, you are never more than a stones throw from a good biking road if you head from the beaten track.

  7. Finn's never got the hang of this ignore thing. I think I am/was on ignore. But he keeps clicking "show ignored content" and taking a sneaky peep. That way madness lies and leads to distress and fulmination. :Banghead::Banghead::Banghead::Banghead::Banghead:

  10. I meant the bit in the civilised world between Corbridge and West Aukland. Looked nice and twisty on the map. Probably teeming with escaped whippets and wind-blown haggises I expect.
