I would have thought that the risk of a return to violence in a (remaining) member state, would be enough to make the EU want to get back round the table to search for an acceptable compromise solution. It's not all 'The UK' ffs. There are 2 parties involved in this 'divorce', but it seems only one is expected to compromise/give in. Has been shown to be a lie as the U.K. has said the gfa is too important to put up hard borders of old, you know this.

You also know if there is any border it will be on the Irish side at the insistence of the eu who value the single market more than the gfa.
