British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.

  1. When you say the UK stays intact, you seem to overlook the hard border between NI and the rest of the UK, and that NI would take direction from EU on trade rules and laws.

Intact as in completely separate from and isolated from? That’s a new meaning of ‘Intact’ that’s quite different from my use of the word.

  18. By implication, you see Irish re-unification as the lesser of two evils. Either that or you are sitting on the fence chucking brickbats at both sides, which is way cool.

I see re-unification as the lesser of two evils.

What does the majority of electorate who live in NI see as the lesser of two evils? And how do we persuade the ruling class of the UK to see it that way?

  19. Looking back at that series it was very prescient. I’m not sure anything’s changed:confused:
