This session has lasted nearly two and a half years, the longest since the English Civil War. Only three scheduled sitting days (8th, 9th, and 10th October) will be lost. With that in mind, some of the Remain rhetoric around this is absolutely hysterical and unjustifiable. The politicians they interviewed on radio 5 while I was driving home sounded most distraught, except for Corbyn he sounded, well, err, nothing. Johnson says it’s not to force through a no deal brexit, so why has he done it ?
