British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I agree with Alan.

EU just wants to hug us and show us it loves us.

How could we be so cruel, denying the EU of its conjugal rights?

  2. I think our own vote/poll shows that can't happen, as the majority want out and out now!

  3. Lots of people signed the petition, 1.2million in under 24hrs. Regardless of your views on Brexit, Boris is making a mistake, and it could be very costly to everyone, not least him and the muppet Mogg.

  4. People who want to see the most important powers held by Parliament siphoned off into the hands of an anti-democratic foreign power are now demonstrating and signing petitions "in defence of Parliament", to ensure that Parliament has the ability to continue this transfer process.

I'm looking for the right word or phrase - what's more dissociative than "cognitive dissonance"?

  10. Didn't 5x more than that sign a different petition to cancel brexit entirely?

I honestly can't keep up, what is it they want? Parliament to work, a 2nd referendum or revoke article 50 entirely?

Or is it simple democracy, you know, that version 'they' seem so fond of?

I just find it quite incredible that the people who've cried, screamed, stamped their feet and wailed for the last 3 years are the supposedly educated pro democracy side of the country.

For the love of god can't they simply realise that if you want a better deal then cowering in a corner like a kicked flatulent dog isn't the way to go about it.

Or don't they want a deal that means leaving? so really this is just more of the same cry baby antics we've had for 3 years.

    The cunts

  11. You don't think that any UK citizens might be overseas when they log in? Perhaps they have a second home overseas, or are on holiday. Don't you get out much?

  12. Ah, the ones who have selfish reasons to sign the petition
    Thanks for pointing that out
    :):upyeah:

  13. Selfishness - that could well be a reason. Good to see a comment that isn't complete nonsense.

  14. I have signed petitions whilst overseas. Proper overseas, not next door in EU-Land.

    Wait.

How did I get there if the other country isn't in the EU? This makes no sense!
