  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Were you asking a question? Or talking :poop:? If you were asking a question then here is some info for you

A paper produced in May 2017 stated that there ‘will need to be a political and not just a technical solution.’

Indeed, what became Paragraph 49 of the December Joint Report—the backstop in embryonic form—was first drawn up by Commission and Irish negotiators in a working paper later in November 2017.

The Irish understanding of the border solution was front and centre. As Tony Connelly remarks, ‘the meaning was clear. In order to avoid a hard border … Northern Ireland, to all intents and purposes, would have to remain in the single market for goods and the customs union.’

For the British government, this was unacceptable. All the more so given that, between Lancaster House and the appearance of the Commission’s proposals, Theresa May had suffered humiliation at the hands of the electorate and been forced to rely on the support of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) to form a government.

  2. I am saying the eu have only offered one draft proposal and one idea, both included the backstop which keeps the U.K tied to the eu by trade, judiciary and politically. The backstop is not acceptable, parliament itself has said it is not acceptable, 3 times. Now you can throw emotive fluff all you want but that does not change the bare facts does it?

  3. An Irish paper also supporting the backstop indeed, came from the eu

The backstop was born on 8 November 2017.
It entered the world weighing just 66 words, one bullet point of six at the bottom of a "working paper" circulated that morning by Michel Barnier's team to officials from the 27 member states.

  7. Election now Cor-bin said he wanted one today (but I think Cor-bin might change his mind before the vote :eyes:)

  8. On Sunday Labour’s Keir Starmer said that his party had been thinking long and hard about an early General Election, but thought that Labour would not support it if it was to be held after Brexit day. The priority, he said, was to avoid a no-deal Brexit. However on Monday Jeremy Corbyn said that his party would support an early General Election under any circumstances. Johnson might be planning a big trap, marking it with a huge sign saying “Here’s a trap”, and Jeremy Corbyn would march into it anyway. There’s leadership for you. Or there’s the typical confusion of the Labour party. Take your pick

  9. At the request of the U.K. government

  12. Yip, he's been after one for 3 years, and even today he called for one - but they need a 2/3rds majority to call one, so need him still to want one when one is offered :eyes:

  16. It's funny watching the bloke in the news studio talk to a reporter outside number 10, talking to another reporter 18 inches away who is talking to another reporter in another part of london. All of them watching the same speech and all second and third guessing.

I don't think any of them get any sex

  17. No need fin, your leaflets have been the same since 1707 :D

  18. You are unbelievable Exy!

Is the EU A signatory to the GFA?

Is the EU bothered about hard borders or not?

Does the U.K. have a legal requirement to keep the border open?

And if the border has to be open is it up to the EU or the U.K. to ensure that goods going into the EU are EU compliant?

Why is the U.K. government fancying about with legislation which will make it a criminal offence to export non EU compliant goods into Ireland, like that stops drugs and other contraband

  19. I wonder what junkers will do when he hangs up his eu coat
