Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. He has tremendous pins under that pin stripe suit. Who'd have thought. :) :upyeah:

  2. In that article it said.... The group of MPs and peers behind the legal challenge, who are headed by SNP MP Joanna Cherry and Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson, have indicated they will appeal against the ruling.

Imagine that, the lib dems and the snp saying, I don't like that decision, we want another go

Who could have seen that coming:D. That should be their political party slogan

  7. A group of Tory peers will launch a bid to block the no-deal bill when it reaches the House of Lords by laying down a series of wrecking amendments.

The battle over the no-deal bill now moves to the House of Lords

They will seek to filibuster in the upper chamber to prevent a motion being voted on which would ensure the legislation can be passed before Parliament is prorogued.

A total of 86 amendments have been tabled to a motion by Labour’s leader in the Lords, Baroness Angela Smith, which sets out the timetable for the bill to block a no-deal to go through its various stages.

  12. The Beeb showing its real bias on the news this morning Boris trying to upstage JC how pathetic when the real egg is on his face. The sooner we are rid of this extreme right wing politics the better, the way he has treated his own MP's is beyond belief.

  13. i watched the news last night too. STV then Peston. its been a while so I thought I would see what the fuss was all about. first thing that struck me was that STV wasn't the Cringe fest we see on local BBC. and the term, English Nationalist, being used on the Mainstream news. interesting stuff. it got me thinking about what I said to exe the other day about England being 40years behind on their political journey and the comparisons to today. 40 years ago we won a reff on self determination but was overruled because of amendments made to the bill, and a customer of mine, old Allan. the angry and onetime prominent nationalist. I can see the comparisons in his arguments and frustration and much of what i see you guys talking about. what I don't quite get is that, every time I switch on the Box or open a paper, its not European soaps, history, geography, current affairs and documentary's I don't see your culture playing 5th fiddle to anybody. its odd to me why some of you feel over ruled and left behind. strange.
