British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Or was that Hillary?

  2. dunno, I didnt watch it. I thought it was government minister gove that made the killer blow. in his defence of brittish democracy...

  3. There was little cake and eat it at all. The lady in question was alledgedly leaking to the press, something governments of all sides have strict codes of confidentiality, the phone they asked to see of hers was her government phone that she was issued as one of javids aides.

The motion this evening was trying to be applied to civilian contractors/advisors/consultants and their private devices and private communications.

When you are able to understand the difference you might understand why this is a worrying direction and development

  10. All they have to do is have an election now  do you think he's taken the Boris bait or is he dicking about :eyes:

  11. Nope, he's dicking about

  12. Another snotgobbler full of piss and wind

  13. Scotland the scare
What's the old saying, Scotland the Scared, just like Cor-bin, you couldn't make it up :joy:

  14. For a bloke who doesn't want an election yet, he just spent 10 minutes with an election speech. He's as thick as two planks, he thinks no one has noticed that the snp come down to westminster, create chaos , run back up north then point back down south and say look at that mess in westminster, pretending they have had nothing to do with it :D

  15. All you Brexiteers who are revelling in the current situation are the same people that told me I was talking rubbish when I said we would leave without a deal. For you it’s just about winning. The manner of the victory and the “prize” at the end are not important you. Everyone has said no deal is a bad outcome, and yet look at you, bouncing up and down like 6 year olds on a bouncy castle

You don’t know what’s likely to happen.

You are quite happy for peoples lives to be at risk

You are quite happy for people’s health to be compromised

All as long as you win

  16. aye, still thrashing and lashing out I see. yip, 40 years. at least.
apparently the hardest thing to say is, sorry, I as wrong.
the Brexit campaign, its kinda back fired hasn't it?. spend vast amounts of dark money to get half the UK worked up to frenzy and looking the wrong way only for them to double down with the dishonesty when it starts to slip away from them. its not so much that the silly wee 35 are ubertalented and can bring the mighty palace of Westminster to its knees, its just that that lot make it so damn easy for them.
sort yerselvs out folks, its getting cringy now.

  18. You do,all the time, it is not just brexit :D

few points, All that is being asked for is the democratic vote the government and all parties asked us to do, to be respected and carried out. We are not asking for a democratic vote to be overturned or cancelled. Everyone has not said the clean break is a bad outcome. There are many analogy's you could have used but a 6 year old on a bouncy castle is a weird one, even for you

We have a good and probably more grounded idea, far more than project fear, this is definately y2k

echochamber boy, calm yourself. given the flow of trade traffic is two way, I see no european politicians or media saying anyone on the eu side will die over trade negotiations

I think we covered that above

We have already won, in 2016, the difficulty now is making sure people do not lose faith in democratic voting system because they should know peoples majority democratic votes still apply in the U.K.

  19. All the scare stories about food and medicine shortages that keep reappearing, can someone tell me who is going to stop them getting here, are the suppliers going to stop supplying? are the French ports going to hold them up or stop them being exported? they have said not, the British have said they won't hold them up at our side and will actively fast track them, even fly them in if necessary.
