Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Vote for anyone who has good ideas you like and a credible record of achieving them. That will eliminate the Tories on at least one account.

  3. Absolutely.

Better yet, install a technocracy and remove any need for voting!

    Job jobbed!

and on every subject that eliminates society over self.

  5. I added on to my reply before your post, she is an american and has to apply for a work visa, it would seem she was expecting an extra special one and that has been denied, tat sometimes happens. I also highlighted you raising this with a cut and paste from the scostman, tried to create an anger that wasn't there because had you posted the full story, you would have seen the decision had been overturned and she now has just to apply to obtain.

It remains however, not a brexit issue, as so many of your inputs into the brexit thread are not

  6. yer right, because its a cut and paist its not relevent to the genneral underlying causes of the friction thats being generated between the nations of the uk.
yip, an extra special one because of the hurdles place by the home office. and highlighting that the initail powers to decide these maters where given to a culture body from a different culture by the home office is just creating anger and the need to loby by a paper is just run of the mill stuff.
yours sincerly Mr T Appologist. aka angry from essex.

  7. It wasn't that you cut and paste fin, it was that you cut and paste just one part to incite sillyness knowing full well further down the article, a resolution had been offered. This would infer you deliberatley do not seek to add links due to careful manipulation of articles you put forward.

Not the first time you have done this nor the first time offered in a non relevant article to the thread in question.

  8. btw, i have no idea what AKA means. but the wee man says all the time so it must be cool and relevent to modern lingo.

  10. Oops there you go again, let me ask you a simple question then

When you tried to make this something it wasn't , why didn't you post a link or copy the full story, that showed a resolution had been attained? because you would have seen that resolution was now there?

  11. i genneraly do. but has been pointed out. its behind a paywall.

  12. i guess it would also give you licence to go on yer anti english theme too. its what you do.

  13. i think most resonable people would ask.
    .
Why the hell an "Arts Council" in England has to decide if Scotland will benefit or not from giving a visa to a talented individual like this that wants to come TO SCOTLAND and not to England?

To add insult to the injury, it is not even a Gaelic speaking country who actually makes the decision. Oh no! It is England of course who would decide even if it does not have the adequate evaluation tools to make the decision.

This is outrageous. Colonialism and the quashing of Scotland's culture remains alive and well in this so call "union of equals".

  14. The paywall only shows you the bad bits and not the good bits? oh my :D

It's just another part of your inference that only Scotland can do things right by saying look at this decision, knowing full well the decision had been looked at and changed, which you forgot to mention. Quelle surprise

As to the visa, it was applied for by an american, to come to the U.K. for work

  15. would they have changed the desicion if lobying hadnt occered?
is bringing these issues to the attention of the public seen as greivence mungering by you and yours? especially as imigratrion is such a hot topic for the uk and population and marketing abroad a particular issue of ours.
you cry when we take desicions for ourself. do you think it was right to for the home office of the UK, to give those powers to a single country. a body that dosent have any accountabilty in the country its making desicions for?..

  16. So we are agreed then, this has nothing to do with british colonialism as you claimed, has nothing to do with uk government bad, scottish government good or even has anything to do with brexit

This is an american lady seeking a specific work and living in the U.K. visa and as such must meet the criteria of the specific visa she is applying for and little else. Cool

  17. its a specificaly english culture body makeing immigration desicions granted to them by the brittish gov to make immigration desicions for its scotish counterpart. on that we are agreed.

  18. We all know that Fin wrote this.... alone....
British and Scottish.... just in case he claims it's nothing like his writing. :)
