British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. but we do know there will come a point where the UK gov will have to "roll over and lay down".

    Am I right in that

Opposition parties don't want to vote on the deal ?

Opposition parties don't want a GE, yet ?

Therefore if the EU don't agree to an extension the UK leaves on 31st October without a deal ?

The opposition parties that don't want a 'disastrous' no deal Brexit are doing all the right things to see that happen ?

(also, i still haven't got my Pen, and does anyone want to buy a boat ?)

  6. so the brexiteers that where offering norway type deals didnt know that they where outside the EU?

  7. One thing that is likely to generate an extension is a General Election following a vote of no-confidence, so it is wholly in Jeremy Corbin’s hands as he can table that motion.

  8. I didn't think he wanted a GE until, I forget, something that will never happen probably.

  9. Norway type deals, efta etc still leave the U.K. having to meet eu rules and therefore would not have been brexit as brexit was to leave the eu to become an independent third country. I hope that has resolved that misunderstanding

The vote was to leave or stay and neither were depending on a deal

  10. Has it finally sunk in? the ballot paper really was quite simple, 3.5 years, geeze you take some educating :joy:

On June 23rd, 2016 a clear majority voted to leave the European Union.

This week, MPs will have another chance to vote on Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal…

...but Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party are planning on adding an amendment for a second referendum.

This is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. The arrogant elite are sticking two fingers up at the people. The sheer scale of their betrayal is difficult to grasp.

We do not want a second referendum.

Tell Jeremy Corbyn and his Remain Obstructionists that your voice is not being heard and that they should be speaking for the majority.

Add your name to our petition if you agree!
