British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Yes put don't tell the ladies :no_mouth:

  2. and yours died at every election where even a man dressed as a giraffe? beat him.

  3. I can imagine all the old brexiteer blunrinse biddies shuffling their way down to the polling station, falling over on the ice, cursing BJ along the way.
I think there are a few reasons elections tend to be in May

  4. Maybe a December election is a good idea
It's maybe more to do with the campaigners bothering to knock on doors - I've still never seen one :D

  5. you are right about it not being common to have snow in December but I do remember December 83 in Aberdeen being snowed in with a power cut for a couple of days.

  6. Last big snow in December was 2010 but that wasn't until the 17th - as I remember
The snow in winter 84 lay until about February with Glenshee open into May, which was nice :upyeah:

  7. You are a resident in a safe *whatever* seat. Your MP could not care less if you live or die.

Trust me. I live in a safe arse-licker seat and his boilerplate response to my genuine concerns, despite being written on the most expensive stationery I have ever seen in my life, was fragrant with contempt.

  8. I remember that.

You guys were troubled greatly by White Walkers that year. Thankfully, the undead are too scared of the English to venture South.

  9. the bluerinse undead vote tory. England votes tory.

  10. My seat is Banff & Buchan, currently 'spit' Tory but formerly a regular seat of a Mr. A. Salmond so probably not considered 'safe' - I don't think either of them care whether I live or die but that is politicians for you :D

  11. 2010 or 1984?
2011 was a good snow year too :upyeah:

  12. There can only be a GE if it’s not snowing now ?

    Who’s idea was that - Labour ?

  13. Yes, Labours Snowflakes

  14. Neither have I. At the last election we watched from the living room window a representative for the tory candidate stick a leaflet through our door saying "Sorry we missed you". Unfortunately the lying tory bastard got the seat [IMG]

  15. Maybe you live in a rough neighbourhood.

    1984.

    I remember nothing from 2010 or 2011.

    Not. One. Thing.

  16. Typical tory tactics - reminds me of the Harry Enfield sketch campaigning for Charlie's uncle 'con' yes that's him alright....

  17. Very rough as I live there :D one of these dodgy biker fellows you know, ruffians :bucktooth:
1984 was a good year in many ways - they even wrote a book about it

  18. What about general 'bad' weather? Anyway who decided snow should be considered 'bad'? I like snow I do

  19. Not sure who started it or, to be honest, why they consider it bad.

  20. We need a referendum that's all I can say
