British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. OI !!!!!11!!11!

  2. I'm not sure you read my response. LOL.. If you did, you would know -what I think- Corbyn wants.

  3. Sorry, what I meant was he says he wants a GE etc etc, but then there always seems to be an excuse for why it's not the right time.

(I do read your posts, I promise. I am easily distracted though.

  4. To avoid a sneaky no deal by Blojob, before an election or referendum can take place, refusing an election is necessary.

Once the chance of the sneaky no deal is out of the way (soon) an election can take place - without fear of this happening.

  5. Would they be losers if they won a people’s vote?

  6. Imagine the look on everyone's faces if all the clever machinations finally led to this election ... and then the Brexit Party won the GE.

"Delicious" doesn't begin to cover it.

Meh. George R R Martin stuff. Not gonna happen.

  7. I'd want to congratulate Farage for pulling it off.

In the meantime I will rely on the Lottery to provide miracle wins as the odds are better.

  8. It’s certainly noticeable the difference in tone in the chamber when he gets up to speak. To be fair to BJ, this started during Mays time.

It’s interesting to consider the language which Unionists use. The phrase “lose Scotland” is used frequently. Is Scotland a possession?

  9. POLITICIANS hit out tonight at a shock poll showing half of young adults reckon over-70s should be barred from voting on the country’s future.
The Britain-wide survey revealed 47 per cent of the 16-34 age bracket think pensioners shouldn’t get a say on issues like Brexit and independence - as it's younger generation that has to live longest with the consequences.

  10. I don't remember to be honest, there's been so many refusals I can't keep up with them.

I think they should have just said 31st January and left the year blank.

  13. So barring some last minute unforseen action by Blojob (or do Cummings & Mogg really call the shots?) full speed to the GE.

  16. No reason not to now is there ?

Interesting to see what happens now.

  17. Which rather supports what those of who were seeking a clean break from day one, were saying.

We can only leave when the eu lets us and with the deal the eu wants.
