British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  4. Not that I have the answer (other than revolution) but surely someone out there must have some clue of how to get rid of all of these clowns so we can start again.

  5. Ffs this is going to drag on for the next 50 years

So labour can take over or others, and suddenly the EU barnabey bear will take back all that’s been agreed not agreed with the the baboon and re negotiate
    Hmmmm I don’t think so

Labour or others will have to discuss in the house and get other parties to agree to terms
Hmmmm it can’t be done now who says it’s going to work with different parties in charge

  7. I see no way in which the current shit show doesn't continue until the UK is re-absorbed by the EU (assuming it manages any kind of Leave), unless the Brexit party wins the GE.

I see very little chance of the BXP winning the GE.

There's a possibility that the BXP are just a bunch of chancers who will achieve nothing but they are still the only game in town.

Anyone know of any democratic countries I could move to? If you say "Go to Hell" ... there's no way I'm moving to Switzerland.

there is the greens. while a tad too radical for me but to their credit, do work constructivly in our parliment.

  10. And I always worry when people on a motorcycle forum think they know the answers more than those that have at least half a clue about economics.

  11. You have to be rich to get a ducati, be patient for the amount of times it breaks down and an optimist hoping it never will.

  13. Thank you Finm, I promise I would behave myself.
What I like about you Finm is your total pride in your beautiful country, this is something we’ve lost.
Whether it’s been beat out of us I don’t know but the pride in being English is lacking for some reason.
It’s the same on the Island, the Manx people are so proud and passionate about their wonderful home and rightly so.

  18. I think we should all vote for SNP - that way we can all join Fin... or he can join us....

But as many of you have said... what will change... no one will get a majority... same shit will continue....

Time for Queenie to take over... and appoint someone to run the country... someone who has actually run things and made decisions and grown things... a Business Man.. not a bunch of childish cretins..

Anyway... I think the election should be in 3 parts

    Part 1 - Which Party
Part 2 - Stay or Leave
Part 3 - Leave with or without a deal..

That way all things are covered - one clear answer.. now all the facts on Leave / Stay are in the public domain... not just half a story.
