The current Monarch doesn't use her position to influence politics in an obvious way as far as I am aware. Though I don't particularly like the PM and other elected leaders being required to brief Her Madge weekly at personal meeting with the PM - typically on Wednesdays. There should be no possibility of interference in government by unelected people (take back control!). I see no reason to presume that non interference would always be the case, and if it were, what are the point of these meetings? Why not make it official with a full separation of democracy from figure head?
Serious political interference from the Crown would end the Monarchy within hours. It continues to exist on sufferance from the Establishment, on the condition that its contributions are purely ceremonial. Inertia. Tradition. Domino effect. If the theatre of Constitutional Monarchy is damaged, the whole thing will collapse. The Establishment will not allow an end to the Monarchy until and unless it ceases to be useful and starts to become problematic. TL/DR: The UK Monarchy is the appendix of the UK body politic.
Tradition, mainly. However ... The Monarch retains a measure of personal influence in terms of the UK's relationships with some other countries - principally Commonwealth Nations - but this influence is strictly limited. In addition, there are sections of the UK population who continue to hold the Monarchy in their esteem. As conditional as the influence of the Monarch is on the blessing of the establishment, it is still worth maintaining the fiction that the Monarchy has a role in governing the country. Not necessarily because it is an aspect of Government that we need - it is more a case of avoiding the inevitable disruption that abolition of the Monarchy would entail. It's an asymmetrical issue.

Are the monarch's 'meetings' just for tea then, I do remember previous PM's saying they were surprised when they attended the following meeting and got 'bollocked' for not implementing the monarch's ' suggestions'. And of course there are the well documented 'spider letters'. But it could all be propaganda
It's pure theatre. The Monarchy exists to reassure the stupid cattle that nothing has fundamentally changed, the UK is still a nation and the EU is just a trading bloc. I really shouldn't have to point all this out.
This is all self-evident. I can provide you with a tinfoil hat scenario if you like but I don't believe it, I just find it plausible.
