British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Another defection Baroness sandbag to the pink Tories, see the Myso's must be hard at work.

  2. Fin do you think you will be treated equally in the eu?

  3. yes. i think there will be give and take.

  4. Debt increased by more than double under labour (125%), but only rose by 53% under Conservatives. Deficit, which is VERY important, is down. Would you run your household at a deficit, or would you tighten your belt so that you income was more than your expenditure? I'd love to see people run their household under labour mentality of increased debt, running at a deficit and increasing their kids pocket money because it makes their kid like them more.

  5. Bare with me here fin

In the U.K. the largest nation has the most amount of mp's so understandably would have the most influence, I presume you would agree with that?

When you look at the eu's own mep allocation, Scotland with roughly the same population as Finland so would get 14 mep's, will be fighting their corner where, Like the British system, the largest countries have the most mep's and so influence

    Germany 96
    France 74
    Italy 73
    Romania 32
    Scotland 14

You can see what I'm getting at. Most people agree that Germany and France, largely decide where the eu goes and what the eu does

so you run an incredibly huge risk of going from a big fish in a small pond into an incredibly smaller fish in an ocean
