British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. What ???? that bitch should get back to her roots, who the hell does she think she is & our Courts backed her, it just shows whos side the judges are on

  2. There we are then.......

  3. That is wonderful thing about the law. It is impartial and anyone who breaks it can be taken to court - including the government (though that might not be the case in the future).

Care to explain or show any realistic evidence, studies, academic opinion which support your claim that the courts are bias in favor of Miller?

Equally, just what do you mean by "that bitch should get back to her roots"?

  4. Like Jez, I am wondering who the “bitch” is, where are her “roots” and who do the courts belong to?

  7. Maybe BoJos excuse its a different Tory Government? I think he would have more success and win more votes if he dropped the lies and stuck to the good policies he has and concentrate on focussing on Corbyns bad ones: like the broadband one.

his speech in the HoC about Grenfell was remarkable and can come across well.

  8. She won the case against Boris for proroguing parliament, didn't she.. she is another who is only in it for herself, & she may well be PM one day God Forbid
in answer to your second question what do you think I mean ?

  9. How can a complusive liar drop lying, every time that piece of shit opens his mouth his eyes drop to the floor and they come falling out.

  10. " Remarkable lying exercise " you're surely not that gullible ?

  11. cherry won her case winning the right to revoke article 50 and also the proroguing and forcing bojo to seek an extension. maybe she should get back to her roots too.
Corbyn went down well this week. as in, well down.

  13. Miller has applied for the courts to make rulings over potentially illegal acts by the government. On at least two occasions she has been shown to be correct, and the government were shown to be breaking the law. The government has fully accepted these judgements. Which makes me wonder why you are certain of bias?

Regarding your second point "that bitch should get back to her roots"? are you unable or too embarrassed to actually say what you mean?

  14. Gordon Brown was Prime Minister until May 2010.

International finances were challenging at the time, but in the UK that was also a reflection of Labour’s fiscal policies.

Between 2007 and 2010 (Under Gordon Browns stewardship) the UKs Budget Defecit rose from a sustainable £10 billion pa to an unsustainable £100 billion pa. A tenfold increase!

Since then the defecit has been reduced year on year until it is now in surplus (Despite Labour’s protests of “Austerity”).

    https://www.ukpublicspending.co.uk/...icit-total&source=a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a_a

But that’s just the in year spending.

Whilst the Government spending has gone down, with interest the debt is still going up!

And you have to repay capital too before the interest bill comes down.

    The Labour Party’s position remains

    1. Borrow recklessly to spend on “The Many” until the wheels fall off the economy.
    2. Lose an Election.
    3. Criticise “Austerity” whilst debts are reduced.
    4. Wait for a new generation of voters to be suckered by promises of “Bread and Circuses”.
    5. Return to 1. and repeat.

They are like a spending spree on a Wonga loan with no thought for tomorrow!

  15. Labour supporters and politicians have always had the memory of a goldfish instead of 9 seconds it only ever goes back no further than 9 years.

Funny thing, they fucked it right up with people who knew what they were doing, Imagine what they would do with Corbyn, McDonnell, Abbott and Thornberry

  16. So what do you think about Blojobs spending plans?

PS. The term "Austerity", in relation to the last ten years is hardly a Labour construct, evidenced by the Tory Party themselves annoucing its end...

    austerity.jpg

More recently, the current Chancellor said

Mr Javid said: "No department will be cut next year. Every single department has had its budget for day to day spending increased at least in line with inflation.

"That's what I mean by the end of austerity."

  17. Tories and Labour are both just saying spend spend spend now, no real indication of where the money will come from.

Lib Dems however are saying 1p on tax to pay for stuff.

    just saying. :)
