British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I can see a bloke who is prepared to take the awkward questions and deal with them and standing up to the largest yearly business gathering and saying yes the cuts are there, but at the moment the nhs comes first

  2. Yes, he is good at 'awkward' questions

    :):):):)

  3. seriously, that is what you think after seeing the previous tax rates, current rates and where both parties would like to be?
Looks like the Conservatives have written off close to 100£ billion with their historical tax cuts on corporation tax since 2010
People scorn Dianne Abbicus, but the Tory party sure as hell need some magic to make their figures stand up to scrutiny. Maybe they have found another bag of money behind the settee..

  6. Nunchetty, on a very priviliged and not average wage at the lefty bbc, asking how boris relates to the average person whilst she gives of the vibe she is one of those average people.

This was one of those lazy snipey poor journalist questions lazy snipey journalists ask.

We demand we want the very best people running our government then demean those who who have gone to the best schools, best universities, studied and qualified in their field and say these are only for the elite. Funny old world

  7. Would you happen to know how many of those tax cuts benefited small and medium size business's

  8. Again you are funny. Boris, .....the Politician or journalist?

or this guy, pictured with his mate.

  9. She is an odd duck, only the other week she was decrying she wants no part of this, she is happy living in the states with her husband. Now she's on british tv, presumably getting paid for interviews where she implies but never confirms

  10. No, and neither do you. Tax though, is on profit. After accountants have hidden as much as possible. So it really is not an issue. Tax has to come from somewhere.

  11. I saw those questions, they were at the cbi this morning and his response was appropriate for a sitting prime minister of her majesties government. Some of the journo's asking the questions were even laughing as they asked. If you look beyond just one news source jb, you would see it too :D

  12. I thought the question was related to him (or his PR people ?) saying he was 'the man of the people' or something similar.

How do we demand the very best ?

  13. The question did indeed call for Blojob to explain his claims which as shown in the vid he was unable to do.

You can't choose the candidates. You can choose which candidate you prefer.

  14. I thought it was.

Exactly, they don’t qualify by going to the best schools etc.

  15. Soph explain best schools ? Please.

  16. The definition of "best school" is unknown to me and as far as I can make out is hotly contested. The BBC appear to require that every news presenter must have attended private school though...

  17. A diction thing then ?

  18. Hardly. An allegiance thing more likely.
