Corbyn and Johnson as people aside for a moment, it's still foolish to think this election isn't about brexit in a large part. Unfortunate as that may be. What I don't understand is why Corbyn and his team of advisors think that continuing this 3.5 year (to date) ambiguity on the subject is worthwhile at this stage, especially as he's the man trying to sell the unknown deal he's yet to negotiate, which he'll need 3 months to do, and then a further 6 months of 2nd referendum organisation. So IF his timescale goes to plan, the best people and businesses can possibly hope in regards clarity from him is a choice between a WA that doesn't yet exist, and remain on the ballet, possibly at some point in September 2020, likely with an intended implementation January 2021 should people vote for his unknown WA. So another year and a bit He was asked roughly 9 times about that last night (depending which media story you read) and still offered nothing more but his 'quite clear' ambiguous position. Yes I get it Corbyn supporters, there's more to life than brexit and policy should be the ultimate focus, but that's ignoring just one of the massive elephants in the room. Like it or not the Lib Dems are quite clear, the Conservatives are quite clear, the Brexit party is, as is everyone else. But Labour? Completely non committal....as usual
I think if Corbyn stated which option he would campaign for it would make a big difference, regardless of which option it is. Saying he'd support the remain option or his deal option would surely win him votes.
I thought JC couldn't have been any clearer, as to Labour's position, if you don't like it or didn't listen properly don't vote Labour.
